Hey there Lovers of the Outdoors

I’m Jess and this is my adorably small family that you can see anyways, we also have 5 cats and a dog.  We live in a small town in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, born and raised (cheeseheads for life). We are avid lovers of the outdoors and love to camp, hike and travel. We just plain and simple WANT to be outside discovering something new. We want this great habit to be instilled with our son. By 18 months old he had already been on 10 different camping trips 2 of them backpacking adventures. I would say we are on the right track.

Lately though as it seems to happen sometimes, life consumed us with work, keep house, work and keep house. I’ve had enough “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” – Oscar Wilde. That quote can change lives. I don’t want to just exist, I NEED to LIVE! So I pulled out my Bucketlist and said there will never be a better time than now. Follow along as we keep life interesting and share about every person, place or thing we discover as we start checking off the Bucketlist.  We have a few grand adventures up our sleeves that you might want to follow along with. Till those adventures roll around I’ll be posting weekly about my 52 Week Hike Challenge in hopes it will encourage other to get out and challenge themselves in the great outdoors. Also once a week I will be posting in my Camp Wisconsin Series which features a new Wisconsin campground that I have personally stayed at and the good/bad with each.
