Well today is a great day, on my way out the door my phone pinged to notify me Our Little Red House nominated me for the wonderful Sunshine Blogger Award. Took me by complete surprise but I feel so grateful for this opportunity in the blogger world. A huge thank you to Our Little Red House. Everything you write is full of life and interesting to last sentence. I wish I had the creative mind, hands and patience’s for all the arts and crafts you accomplish. Keep up the amazing work!!

Here are my questions from Our Little Red House

1.What movie can you watch over and over again without getting tired of it?                               Lincoln Lawyer, I am a huge fan of Matthew Mcconaughey. I’m not one to sit in front of a tv but I could do a marathon running of his movies with his skills and looks.

2.Where did you get most of the decorations for your home?                                                                   I’m obsessed with mushroom décor and get pretty lucky finding odd items at rummage sales. All the picture frames come from Black Friday deals though.

3.If animals could talk which animal do you think would be the most annoying?                                I’m going with Cats on this one. We live with 5 rescue cats and they are already pretty vocally annoying. I can’t imagine what they would be saying if they could all talk.

4.What was the last photo you took?                                                                                                                  A couple friends and I went to see a local band play at a bar last night and the last photo I got was the lead singer playing guitar. Was quite an experience I won 4 vip tickets with a $50 gift certificate to the bar through a local radio station. So was a free night on top of awesome music could not ask for more. Danced the whole night away to the Pat Watters Band!

5.Where are some unusual places you have been?                                                                                          The Spam museum was the first thing to come to mind. Yes they have a whole huge building dedicated to the weird meat we know as Spam. Its located in Minnesota. Another unusual place would be the mouth of the worlds largest musky located in Hayward Wisconsin. Corn Palace in South Dakota.
6.What is the funniest joke you know by heart?                                                                                                     O boy I have blonde jokes up the wazoo as that’s all I ever really hear. Here is one of my favorite short ones. What do you call 7 blondes in a row?  A wind tunnel………lol knee slapper
7.What do you think you are much better at than you actually are?                                                                   This whole blogging thing. I was never much for writing other than to do list. I loved reading my whole life though. Once I sat down to get started my fingers seemed to be typing things I didn’t even know I was thinking. Found a new talent.

8.What’s the most ridiculous thing you have bought?                                                                                        Being an over thinker on every penny I spend I don’t buy anything unless I absolutely need it, I will admit though I break down for my son a lot. Most people do think I’m ridiculous for how much I spent on a some of our backpacking supplies. They obviously just are not into it like we are.
9.What was the best thing that happened to you today?                                                                                      Other than being nominated for this reward watching my son smile as he got to play on big blue dinosaur slide. Blue is his favorite color and his obsession with Dinosaurs is unreal right now.
10.What are some of the best vacations you’ve had?                                                                                          Week spent in Yellowstone National Park and when Jason and I were up north Wisconsin for a week before we had Phoenix. We saw the biggest boldest redish/orangish moon set perfectly over the lake and we chilled out on the dock watching it for hours just drinking in complete relax mood. Those moments when the world stops and nothing matters are truly precious.
11.What happens in your country regularly that people in most countries would find strange or bizarre?                                                                                                                                                                This is the toughest ? as I feel I cant speak for my whole country because I haven’t been around it all. In our area though I would say tailgating/partying for pretty much any event or reason. Wisconsinites can literally turn anything into a party but tailgating is a tradition.
