I feel if I do a quick blog about this year Resolutions I will be more challenged in my mind set to accomplishing them. I accomplished some pretty huge ones in the past such as 1 year of no chocolate and 1 year of no pop(still don’t drink pop to this day).
I have always been on the fence about new year resolutions but at the same time enjoy setting some for myself. I believe its just the timing of it that has me off put. All throughout the year you should be challenging yourself and why not start right away on a diet instead of waiting weeks or months for a new year and just pigging out till then. Now you have 10-20 more pounds to work off. This goes into the whole we are not guaranteed tomorrow nor should we depend on that idea.
Any who here are my 2018 Resolutions:
Personal Goals –
1. Successfully complete one month of Whole 30
2. 52 Week Hike Challenge
3. Train for 64 mile Frozen Otter Race(takes place January 2019)
Family Goals –
1. Healthier eating habits
2. Get Phoenix potty trained(hopefully before summer)
3. Cross Country Road trip
There they are my big 3 for each one. Besides these big ones I do set small monthly goals to give myself a moral booster along the way. I strive to make 2018 the best year yet. Push myself beyond my limits and live outside my comfort zone.
